
[SOLVED] Redstone Repeater/Torch not turning off. Glitch?
Dec 1, 2012 · When redstone is outside the boundaries of this area, it stops working correctly. Without mods, currently you can't propagate signals too far or stuff like this happens. So there is no fix. You have either got to be near the redstone or, in case you are in multiplayer, have players every now and then near the wires.
Redstone repeaters stay on when the powersource is off? Help!
Oct 1, 2012 · That repeater being ON (OR OFF) is stored in the database which is the Minecraft world save file. To clear it, do these steps: delete that repeater. Close the world Close Minecraft. Reopen Minecraft and that world. Replace that repeater.

Jul 25, 2011 · The reason you do it this way, it because the pistons have a 1 tick "push" cycle, so by the 15th repeater, there will need to be a 15 tick delay between pulses. This way, the repeater gets reset straight after it has transmitted. and All of the repeaters are ready at the same time.

Jul 8, 2011 · @Oracular: The usually repeater needs 0.1 seconds to get activated or deactivated. The Piston-Repeater needs 0.15 seconds to get activated (thats 0.5 more), but 0s to get deactivated (thats 1 seconds less). And dont forget you could invert it.

Aug 27, 2011 · for a monostable circuit, you would actually need more delay, not less, but thanks for the sarcasm. the torch takes between 1 to 2 ticks to turn off, and the repeater takes 1 as is. How long the circuit stays on depends on the difference between the two, so you need to increase the delay on the repeater.

Apr 28, 2012 · Just open minecraft and try it. I mean, ticks are a virtual limit given by the software. When a cable is set to ON, the whole cable come to ON in zero tick. But there is a 15 blocks limit. Also, pistons are able to open a wire and make it ON instanly. But as I said, I'm goind to write a bit about how it works.
