Dec 13, 2024 · The Chehalis Western Trail starts from Olympia and travels twenty-one miles south. The paved rail trail is incredibly scenic, passing lakes, dense forests, and suburban neighborhoods. This route begins at the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail intersection and ends at the Yelm-Tenino Trail, which is five miles short of the southern terminus.
