Vista vs. Mardi Gras : r/CarnivalCruiseFans - Reddit
Mar 11, 2024 · Overall, I don't know if your experience will be much different on Mardi Gras. The layout is totally different, but it's the same kind of experience overall. It'd be different if you were talking about Carnival's older ships for booze cruises, but the Vista should provide similar levels of service, options, and class as the Mardi Gras.
Mardi Gras 2025 : r/AskNOLA - Reddit
Mardi Gras Day will vary greatly for locals. Some do big parades, some do neighborhood things and some do neighborhood parades that end up in the 1/4. But it's the last day of festivities that begin every year on January 6th. For me, Mardi Gras Day is about the costumes, rolling into the 1/4 with the neighborhood. If you're big on costuming ...

Aug 30, 2023 · The weekend before Mardi Gras all the action is on this route, but Lundi and Mardi Gras most of the action is downtown. They have way more Mardi Gras ahead of them, you don't need to give them the beads from the limited number of Mardi Gras years left in your future. The peer pressure cringe. When one person gives the throws they catch to kids then people around them feel bad for not doing the same so then they also give the kids more throws.
Celebration or Mardi Gras ? : r/CarnivalCruiseFans - Reddit
Aug 15, 2023 · Kids were more on Celebration, but that I believe was just time frame as it was a July cruise vs a Mardi Gras late September. I liked the Port Canaveral overall experience much better than Miami. he Bolt was effectively down the entire cruise on Celebration (saw it run a handful of time), Mardi Gras was operational the entire cruise
Mardi Gras Guide - Did I miss anything? Is it to long (in-concise)?
Don’t plan on vacationing in New Orleans during Mardi Gras unless you are coming specifically for Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is also the worst time to experience the "real New Orleans" as the entire city is centered around the parades. Most restaurants and attractions will be closed and there will be insanely long wait times for the ones that are ...

Help me decide - Mardi Grad vs Carnival Vista : r/Cruise - Reddit
Both ships are nice although the Mardi Gras being a good bit larger has more entertainment, more bars, more food options, and larger crowds. I would consider the features of both ships as one point of consideration. The Bolt roller-coaster on Madi Gras might be of interest. Vista has a human pedal powered Sky Ride.
Mardi Gras movies : r/AskNOLA - Reddit
Jan 9, 2023 · "Skeleton Key" and "Deja Vu" are not about Mardi Gras, but I believe feature some aspect of it briefly in the story. "King Creole", also not a Mardi Gras movie, but it is set primarily in the French Quarter area and features Elvis singing in a Bourbon Street nightclub.
My thoughts on Carnival Mardi Gras vs. RC Wonder of the Seas.
Mardi Gras and her sister Celebration have a few more free food options than every ship older than them. Both companies ships usually have free slides and flowrider surfing. Many of Royal ships also have things like zip lines, laser tag, bumper cars, carousel, ice skating for free as well as a couple of options that are free some days and paid ...
