Ty Gibbs is the winner of the first NASCAR in-season tournament. Gibbs bested Ty Dillon with a 21st-place finish in the Brickyard 400 on July 27 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to win the in-season final.

Dillon faced Ty Gibbs in the finals in a battle of the 'Tys' over the $1 million prize. Dillon had begun the event as the bottom seed before making an unlikely run through the challenge, winning every David vs. Goliath battle in front of him.

Ty Gibbs defeated Ty Dillon in the Ty vs. Ty matchup in the Final Round of the inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge. Gibbs finished 21st in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 — seven spots ahead of Dillon — to claim the $1 million prize.
