Spartacus: House of Ashur is a a history-bending, erotic, thrilling, 10-episode sequel series where the bad guys won.

McIntyre sweetly kicked off the celebration with a nod to the series’ original Spartacus, Andy Whitfield, who died in 2011 of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, at the age of 39. Before introducing the panelists, he asked the crowd of rowdy and devoted fans to clap and cheer for Whitfield, and in turn, the fans erupted in response, celebrating his memory.
