Warner Bros. Discovery, meet Warner Bros. and Discovery. The media company has officially announced the names and senior leadership teams for after it splits itself in two, with David Zaslav’s streaming and studios business to be called Warner Bros., and Gunnar Weidenfels’ global networks business to be called Discovery Global.

Warner Bros. Discovery has begun to prepare for its impending divorce. As announced back in June, each half of the soon-to-be-historic conglomerate has already claimed a CEO and division of the company. Now, those two halves, which will operate as separate, publicly traded entities, have brand new names to take with them into single life.

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. announced the names of the two companies resulting from a planned separation of the streaming and studios business from its cable-TV networks.
