Jack Black is fired up and ready to rock on the first soundtrack song from his upcoming adventure flick A Minecraft Movie. And he’s bringing along some friends. Black dropped the classic rock burner “I Feel Alive” last week, a thundering jam featuring Who-like screams and 1970s KISS disco rock vibes.
By day, Jack Black is the king of family-friendly film. But in night’s darkness, Black is a badass rock star in the band Tenacious D. So in typical Jack Black fashion for his latest film, A Minecraft Movie, the actor hit the booth for its official soundtrack.
I Feel Alive features Black on lead vocals and Grohl handling drums. The track also has Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens Of The Stage playing guitar, plus co-production from Black, Andrew Watt ( Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone) and Mark Ronson (Queens Of The Stone Age, Amy Winehouse). Have a listen below,
