A water main break in the Village of Johnson City has left several residents with contaminated water. On Friday, a water main break occurred west of Reynolds Road and north of Aetna Road. Water service was temporarily restored throughout the weekend and a permanent repair is in the works.

Johnson City officials say some areas in the village will be impacted as water will be temporarily turned off Monday mid-morning.

A boil water advisory is in place for all Ephrata Area Joint Authority customers until further notice. The Borough of Ephrata says the advisory was issued in response to a serious water main break. Ephrata Borough government officials say people can flush toilets,

EAJA customers are advised not to consume water unless boiling it for one minute beforehand while the advisory continues.

Multiple communities in northwestern Hamilton County are under a boil water advisory until the end of January. According to Greater Cincinnati Waterworks, the advisory applies to all of Crosby Township, a small part of eastern Harrison Township, and households in western Colerain Township near East Miami River Road.

The city has issued a boil water advisory for part of Flint’s south side because of a water main break. The boil water advisory covers an area from Dort Highway on the east to Red Arrow Road on the west and from Atherton Road on the north to Hemphill Road on the south.

Due to a serious water main break, a boil water notice has been issued to all Ephrata Area Joint Authority (EAJA) customers.

A boil water advisory has been issued for the City of Washington on Thursday due to a water leak, according to officials.

Officials said the water system may be at an increased risk from microbial contamination due to a drop or loss of water pressure from a water main break or leak.
