Miami County nonprofit wants to raise $7M for new animal shelter
The current shelter has been in use since the ‘70s. Miami County Partners for Animal Welfare, the nonprofit that operates the shelter, said it’s not sufficient for the needs of the animals and staff anymore.
Bryan County Animal Shelter will be ' game changing'
Abandoned and abused animals in Bryan County will soon have a new place to be treated while waiting to find their forever homes. Construction of a 4,400-square-foot animal shelter is underway and is slated to open Summer 2025 on the south end of the county. Brooke Edwards, director for animal services said the facility will be “game changing”.
