Nick Wright said he had to answer to Jalen Hurts’ mom, Pamela, after an unexpected run-in at Super Bowl 2025. During Monday’s installment of “First Things First” on FS1, Wright recalled having a “tense” encounter with the Eagles quarterback’s mom, whom he said scolded him for talking “so bad” about her son on television.

So when it came time for Wright to appear on the FS1 show "First Thing First," he had to face the music. He wasn't looking forward to his show with co-hosts Greg Jennings, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes, and it got brutal for the Kansas City supporter.

Nick Wright, Kevin Wildes, Chris Broussard, & Greg Jennings planned our Super Bowl Monday celebration with the idea that the Chiefs would three-peat. That didn't happen. We still celebrated with everything we got anyways.
