A federal judge has dismissed the Department of Justice’s suit against New York City, Mayor Eric Adams and other city officials to challenge the city's sanctuary laws for undocumented immigrants.

The lawsuit comes after the recent shooting of an off-duty Customs and Border Protection officer in Washington Heights.
