In response to these shortcomings, the Ravens are said to have hired Donald D'Alesio, formerly the Kansas City Chiefs safeties coach, as their new defensive backs coach, per information from Tom Pelissero.

Per NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, D'Alesio is considered a "bright young coach" and clearly the Ravens like his pedigree. They should since he's been working with one of the most exciting young positions on the Chiefs that's continued to churn out new talent even after losing important players.

The Ravens are hiring Chiefs safeties coach Donald D'Alesio, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sprots. D'Alesio just completed his fourth season with the Chiefs, his third as the safeties coach. He was a defensive analyst in his first season with the Chiefs in 2021.
