A 16-year-old girl is fighting for her life, and a 17-year-old girl is recovering after the two were shot late Sunday near Manhattan’s Stonewall Inn, hours after the annual Pride March passed through the neighborhood.

An LGBTQ+ Pride parade ended in gunfire near New York City's historic Stonewall Inn on Sunday night, leaving two injured.

According to an NYPD report, the two girls, aged 16 and 17, were shot around 10:15 p.m. as Pride festivities began to wind down. The 16-year-old was struck in the head and, according to police sources, is said to be in critical condition, while the 17-year-old was said to be in stable condition.
