The Solstice event in Destiny 2 celebrates the Summer season with exclusive weapons and armor for players to collect. This event runs annually, but the first Solstice following the launch of the Edge of Fate expansion works a little differently compared to the ones that came before.

The Solstice event has brought three new weapons to the Destiny 2 sandbox, one of which is a reprised bow with a drastically improved perk pool. Unlike past Solstice events, this year's summer event offers bonus loot from playing virtually any activity. Drops are a tier above your current Power band as well, making it easy to get T4 and T5 gear.
