The England women's soccer team will return home on Monday to a hero's welcome following their Euro 2025 triumph, with government ministers hosting a reception to mark a victory hailed as an inspiration for young people across the nation.

The U.S. will play Portugal at Subaru Park on Oct. 23, for their first visit here since 2022. It will be a tribute to retired superstar Alex Morgan, who scored her first national team goal there.
