The Myrtle Beach Pelicans were defeated by the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers 12-1 on Thursday evening at Atrium Health Ballpark.

On Friday, the gates opened right on time at 1 p.m., following delays and evacuations on Thursday due to storms that blew through Myrtle Beach.
