A Russian missile attack on Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv killed one man inside his home and wounded at least 112 others, including nine children, on Friday, officials said.

The attack on Kharkiv marks the third in a row in which Russia is using ballistic missiles filled with cluster munitions against civilian areas, after last weekend’s attack on Sumy on Palm Sunday killed 35 people and the week before attack on Kryvyi Rih that killed 20.

Russia fired at least six missiles and dozens of drones at Ukraine overnight, killing two people in the eastern regions of Kharkiv and Sumy and wounding 70 others, officials said.
