At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a heat advisory valid from Thursday 11 a.m. until Friday 8 p.m.

Tuesday's heat advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the city of Savannah is offering various cooling options again during the advisory.

In order to stay safe, people are urged to limit outdoor activities, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and wear light clothing.
