This weekend is an opportunity for the Orioles to get their season back on track. Baltimore spent the first month sputtering, unable to get its engine to turn over. A 10-14 start is concerning, but the sloppy and uninspired brand of baseball this team’s played for much of this season is even more so.

Detroit Tigers right-handed pitcher Keider Montero will serve as the 27th man for Game 2 of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles at Comerica Park. Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said he will wait until after Game 1 to announce whether Montero will start the nightcap or the Tigers will use an opener.
