During a press conference in London, Dr. Shoo Lee, a retired Canadian neonatologist who chaired an international panel of 14 medical experts, said the group found “significant new evidence” that Letby did not harm any babies in her care, the BBC reports.

The nurse is serving 15 whole life sentences after being found guilty of murdering seven babies and trying to kill seven others.

After assessing the cases of 17 babies cited at her original trial, a panel of world-renowned specialists said that they had found no evidence that Ms. Letby had murdered anyone.
