Lewis Hamilton reportedly made a heartwarming gesture towards Kimi Antonelli after the Mercedes rookie endured a tough qualifying session at the Belgian Grand Prix. On Saturday, qualifying for Sunday's Grand Prix took place around the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Hamilton endured his own personal qualifying struggles in Spa, too. The legendary Brit spun after a spot of rear brake locking at the final chicane on Friday, dumping him out in SQ1, and was then ousted from Q1 on Saturday after his fastest lap time was deleted for a track limit violation.

Lewis Hamilton, Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Fernando Alonso have all taken the opportunity to add a new power unit to their F1 2025 engine pool at Spa after tough qualifying
