The Houston Astros have acquired a left-handed batting outfielder amid a series of moves to strengthen the lineup before the clock strikes 5 p.m. Central on the MLB trade deadline. The Astros have acquired right fielder Jesús Sánchez from the Miami Marlins, according to Ken Rosenthal from The Athletic.

The 27-year-old has hit double-digit home runs in each of the past four seasons and gives Houston a much-needed left-handed hitter.
