An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for much of Central Florida, where temperatures are expected to reach dangerous levels. High temperatures are expected to range between 95 and 100 degrees. The heat will feel even more intense, with "feels like" temperatures reaching 110 to 115 degrees.
Most of Central Florida is under an extreme heat warning on Tuesday. The only exception will be Brevard County, which is under a heat advisory. Residents are advised to take precautions as the heat index is expected to reach between 110 and 115 degrees in many areas.
Another heat advisory has been issued for the Big Bend. Outdoor workers are reporting dizziness, headaches, and hospitalization this summer.
