After months of back and forth, Brenna Bird dropped a lawsuit against Winneshiek County Sheriff, which claimed a post he made violated Iowa law.

The Iowa attorney general has dismissed a lawsuit against a county sheriff who previously claimed his department would "interfere" with federal agents detaining people without warrants.
