TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned forwards Gage Goncalves and Dylan Duke, as well as goaltender Brandon Halverson, to the Syracuse Crunch, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

On the eve of pivotal back-to-back road games against division foes, the Lightning on Friday evening called up forward prospect Dylan Duke from AHL Syracuse. The move put into question the availability of matchup center Anthony Cirelli for Saturday afternoon’s game in Detroit and Sunday afternoon’s matchup in Montreal.

The Tampa Bay Lightning announced on Friday that they recalled forward Dylan Duke from the Syracuse Crunch. Duke has skated in 36 games with the Crunch so far this season, recording 13 goals, which ties him for the sixth-most among all AHL rookies.

A former college star is set to make his NHL debut in familiar surroundings. Forward Dylan Duke will be appearing in the Tampa Bay Lightning lineup for the first time on Saturday afternoon when the team visits the Detroit Red Wings.
