In what may be a tough pill for the UNLV faithful to swallow, the Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team's top scorer and now former star guard has officially found a new home. Dedan Thomas Jr has transferred to LSU,

Thomas averaged 15.6 points, 4.7 assists and 1.9 turnovers per game during his sophomore season at UNLV. He also shot 41.3% from the field and 35.3% from the 3-point line.

Thomas has a nifty floater with his dominant left hand and is adept at creating space for his turnaround mid-ranger jumper. If he is crowded, he doesn’t panic and shoot an impossible shot often. The 19-year-old still needs to improve his efficiency.
