The Porsche was tapped by a BMW M2 Competition that seemingly wasn't aware of its presence, causing a massive crash.

GT3 RS exploded on impact and the M2 was completely destroyed as a result of a split-second lapse of judgment.

The video shows a Porsche GT3 RS attempting a fast lap on the Nürburgring when a BMW M2 ahead of it swerves into the Porsche, sending the GT3 RS flying into the air before the car bursts into flames.

The track is the 12.9-mile (20.8km) Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Porsche factory driver Timo Bernhard drove a Porsche 919 Evo around it in just 5:19.55. 35 years ago.
