The National Weather Service office in Fairbanks, Alaska, has issued a heat advisory for Sunday. This is the first of its kind ever issued for the state of Alaska – but there's a catch.

For the first time ever, the National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in parts of Alaska. Fairbanks is one of those spots that will suffer unusually warm conditions that have lead to the issuance of the advisory. Temperatures in the area will sit between 85 to 89 degrees Sunday through Tuesday.
