The Miami Heat are sending Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors as the centerpiece of a deal that will include Andrew Wiggins going to the Heat as well as a number of other players who will be rerouted and moved around. Once finalized, the trade is expected to include at least five teams, one of which is the Utah Jazz.

The Warriors acquired Schroder on Dec. 15 via trade with the Brooklyn Nets, sending De’Anthony Melton, Reece Beekman and three second-round picks in exchange. Now, the German point guard is heading to the ninth team of his NBA career. But it doesn't look like it will last very long.

The Jazz helped facilitate the deal, trading the contract of newly-acquired P.J. Tucker to the Heat while taking on Dennis Schröder’s expiring contract. Utah will receive a 2031 second-round pick from the Heat in the multi-team deal.
