Israeli authorities released an Oscar-winning Palestinian director, Hamdan Ballal, who was detained by the army after being attacked by Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.

Footage released by the Center for Jewish Nonviolence and geolocated by CNN shows what the group says was a violent attack on its activists by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. The videos were captured in the area where director Hamdan Ballal was also allegedly assaulted on Monday.
