A pair of Wildcats were announced as 2025 NBA All-Star Game starters on Thursday night. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of five starters from the Western Conference while New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns is one of five starters from the Eastern Conference.

After taking apart two of the hottest teams in the Western Conference, next up for the surging Knicks will be welcoming the challenge of the reigning league MVP. Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, who has earned that award in three of the previous four years,

Wednesday night's game at Madison Square Garden marked the 25th regular-season game between the two men. In the previous 24, Towns averaged 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Jokic posted 19.
