In a rare bipartisan move, two senators have introduced legislation in the latest attempt to fight the flow of fentanyl and its precursors into the U.S. from China, Mexico and through other borders.
In response to America’s accusation on fentanyl smuggling and imposition of tariff, Beijing has said that it will increase its defense budget by 7.2 percent in 2025. China’s increasing defense budget is viewed with suspicion by Washington and other regional powers, including Japan and Taiwan.
