The USA star appeared to get injured at some point in the third period of the round-robin game against Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Tkachuk took a few shifts in the early parts of the frame, but he did not appear the final 12 minutes of the game.
It looks like both Matthew and Brady Tkachuk will be good to go for Thursday’s 4 Nations Face-Off championship.
The younger Tkachuk brother has been stellar for Mike Sullivan's team at the NHL international tournament. The Senators captain posted two goals in the USA's opening win over Finland, and then dropped the mitts with Sam Bennett against Canada in the opening seconds of the game.
