Calgary Flames defenseman Kevin Bahl took an awkward hit from Minnesota’s Jakub Lauko, forcing him to leave the game. Bahl was unable to play in Sunday’s matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, a disappointing loss for the Flames.

Gabriel Vilardi scored two goals and added two assists to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 5-2 victory over the Calgary Flames on Sunday.

The Flames announced Tuesday they’ve recalled forward Adam Klapka from AHL Calgary and reinstated defenseman Tyson Barrie from his conditioning loan. They only had one open active roster spot, but that’s all they needed since Barrie still counted against the limit during his short-lived demotion.
