Chris Paul won't have to worry about choosing a number next season as he makes his return to the Los Angeles Clippers. New teammate Bradley Beal has opened the door for "CP3" to continue in what could very well be the veteran's final NBA season..

On a Tuesday conference call reported on by Beth Harris of the AP, Los Angeles president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank told reporters Beal would cede his No. 3 jersey to Paul.

ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk noted on Tuesday that Bradley Beal has volunteered to let Chris Paul have the jersey number he has worn dating back to his time in high school at West Forsyth. Youngmisuk added Beal hasn't decided what number he will wear during the 2025-26 season.
