Following Trump's lead, organizations including Walmart, Lowe’s and Meta have announced they would scale back their commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

Google Calendar has removed cultural celebrations like Black History Month, Women’s History Month and Pride Month as President Trump cracks down on diversity, equity and inclusion policies. The calendar has also erased Indigenous People Month,

Black History Month and Holocaust Remembrance Day have also been removed, as Google calls its calendar process "unsustainable."

The company also told employees last week it would abandon diversity targets in hiring, complying with the Trump administration’s anti-DEI orders.

The affected cultural and identity-based holidays include the start of Black History Month (which the nation is currently celebrating), Women's History Month, Pride Month, Jewish American Heritage Month,

The company has also reportedly removed Indigenous Peoples' Month, Black History Month, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Hispanic Heritage Month.
