The National Weather Service issued an updated cold weather advisory at 3 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until noon for Oneida, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties.

The new pace is increasing the county’s ability to tackle lead paint, especially compared with work during the coronavirus pandemic.
