Capcom didn't really go out with a bang with this final NES Mega Man game, then, but it did create one final enjoyable entry on the console which birthed the series. And a 'just good' Mega Man is ...

Not bad, though. Offering gorgeous visuals, a great soundtrack, an excellent new boss, a fun new weapon, and some surprising improvements on the NES originals, Mega Man III is a solid outing.
