Get ready for a very busy week in weather!In the Philadelphia region, temperatures dropped into the 20s overnight. That means everything that thawed will re-freeze into ice for Tuesday morning.The rest of the week will be very unsettled and winter-like with three storms rolling through our area.

As the second storm leaves the Midwest and approaches the East Coast late Wednesday, snow may turn to more of a wintry mix in places in the Mid-Atlantic from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A wintry mix could lead to icy conditions across the Southern Appalachians during both events.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 2:37 a.m. EST on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. EST until Thursday 7 a.m. EST for Alpena, Alcona, Ogemaw, Iosco, Gladwin and Arenac counties.

On Monday at 2:32 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Wednesday between midnight and 9 p.m. The warning is for Atchison, Doniphan, Leavenworth, Wyandotte,

New Jersey is bracing for a pair of winter storms this week, with the southern part of the state expected to be hit hardest. But every area of the state will likely see some snow.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 2:32 a.m. EST on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. EST until Thursday 7 a.m. EST for Calhoun and Jackson counties.

The weather service has issued a winter storm warning for Kansas City and portions of Kansas and Missouri that will be in effect from midnight Tuesday to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The NWS Hanford CA issued a winter storm watch at 12:19 p.m. on Monday valid from Wednesday 10 a.m. until Saturday 4 a.m. The watch is for Yosemite, Upper San Joaquin River, Kaiser to Rodgers Ridge, Kings Canyon,

Storm Watch has already been issued for the Philadelphia area, as more snow is expected to fall Tuesday into Wednesday.

The Philadelphia region will see snow Tuesday afternoon and evening, and more winter weather will follow. Chief Meteorologist Bill Kelly has the forecast.
