Vanderbilt baseball extended its winning streak to seven games by decimating the Tennessee Volunteers in the SEC Tournament. The Commodores mowed down Tennessee's batters and were relentless on offense to secure its third win this year over the Volunteers 10-0.

INDIANAPOLIS — Southeastern Conference schools were awarded eight of the 16 regional sites for the NCAA baseball tournament on Sunday, tying the record it set in 2023. The rest of the 64-team field and first-round matchups will be announced Monday by the Division I Baseball Committee.

Vanderbilt was riding high from a blowout 10-0 victory over rival No. 8 Tennessee in the semifinals after the Volunteers eliminated top-seeded Texas in the quarterfinals. Ole Miss had plenty of momentum as well, though, as it defeated second-seeded Arkansas in the quarterfinals and third-seeded LSU in the semifinals.

The Commodores mustered 13 hits while the pitching staff blanked the Volunteers to advance in the SEC Tournament.
