Taylor Kitsch says he's won't be part of the highly anticipated " Friday Night Lights " reboot -- he has his sights set on something else. At the red carpet premiere for "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf" on Monday night, Kitsch opened up to The Wrap about whether he would be involved in the upcoming reboot.

Fans first fell in love with the fictional Dillon High School Panthers football team in 2004 when the movie Friday Night Lights premiered. The original film, which was inspired by the 1990 novel of the same name, was directed by Peter Berg and starred Billy Bob Thornton, Tim McGraw, Amber Heard and Connie Britton.

The new Peacock show, developed by the original series' creative team, is set in the aftermath of a hurricane.
