Mayor Eric Adams is defending his decision to attend the inauguration​, even though he canceled appearances at several Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day events.

In a talk with Tucker Carlson, whom he once criticized, Adams claimed the Democratic party left him because of his immigration views.

Adams was never shy about what he believed in, he just played to the right (wealthy) New Yorkers. He made them fear their city and promised to save them from it during the months they hadn’t escaped to Florida.
