Creed, Nickelback join for 'Summer of '99' festival with other '90s rock bands
A year after a reunion tour, which included a canceled date in Minnesota, Creed is joining Nickelback to put on the Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. The festival will lean hard into bands that thrived during the surge of post-grunge radio rock that infiltrated airwaves in the late '90s.

Scott Stapp and company have selected the East Troy, Wisconsin amphitheater — where they performed for the first time 25 years ago this summer — as the location for their second annual “Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival,” which sold out in its inaugural year in San Bernardino, California, in 2024.

On Tuesday, The Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival, headlined by Creed and Nickelback, announced that it is making its way to Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy for two nights of retro-dipped alternative rock. The two-night festival is set for Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th.
