Residents will continue to experience low pressure again on Thursday morning, dependent on the installation timeline overnight, especially during peak morning use hours (5:30-9 AM).

Water pressure in Midland is nearly back to normal; however, the city is asking residents and businesses to continue conservation efforts, at least through Tuesday. On Saturday, city staffers distributed packs of bottled water to those who needed them after setting up in the east parking lot at Astound Broadband Stadium.

"The emergency bypass of the valve has been successful, but the installation took longer than anticipated," the city said.

The City of Midland continues to monitor the ongoing water situation as crews work diligently to resolve critical issues. Mayor Lori Blong confirmed that teams are actively addressing the problem, with engineers working through key challenges.
