BAGHDAD (AP) — Drones targeted oil fields in Iraq’s semi-autonomous northern Kurdish region Wednesday, the latest in a series of attacks in recent days that have put several oil facilities out of commission.

Drone attacks for a third day on oilfields in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region have slashed crude output by 140,000 to 150,000 barrels per day, two energy officials said on Wednesday, as infrastructure damage forced multiple shutdowns.

Fresh drone strikes have struck three of Iraq's oil fields on Wednesday, in what has become a string of UAV and missile attacks across the Middle Eastern country's Kurdistan region. The Iraqi Kurdistan counter-terrorism forces said that within 15 minutes at 6 am local time (5 am CEST) on Wednesday,
