Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt said at a news conference May 15 that "significant damage" had taken place in Juneau and Mayville. "We have people who are without homes," the sheriff said.

Dodge County Public Health has confirmed that a bat submitted for testing is positive for rabies. The bat’s tests were performed after potential exposure to a pet dog.

There were seven tornadoes on April 28 with three EF-1s and four EF-0s. On May 15, 15 tornadoes occurred. That included six in Dodge County, the strongest of which had a rating of EF-2.

Juneau Mayor Dan Wegener said that power had been restored in most of the area last Saturday. He said debris is also mostly clear. Multiple Dodge County residents still remain displaced.
