Pennsylvania’s U.S. senators met in Boston on Monday for what was billed as a “vigorous” debate, but what actually occurred was the sort of bipartisan collegiality rarely seen anymore.

Senator John Fetterman and Senator David McCormick disagreed over the proposed extension of tax cuts known as the Big Beautiful Bill, currently before the Senate.
