The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent Eric Dixon after he went undrafted in the 2025 NBA draft. Dixon was the nation's No. 1 scorer this past season, averaging 23.3 points per game to earn the NCAA scoring title.

Dixon averaged a nation-best 23.3 points to go with 5.1 rebounds while shooting 40.7% from 3-point range last season for Villanova, where he set the program’s career scoring record.

The Lakers also went ahead and signed Eric Dixon, a big man who went undrafted, to a two-way contract. Dixon, who is 6-feet-8 and 265 pounds, spent five years in the NCAA with the University of Villanova, and he led the nation in scoring this past season with an average of 23.3 points a game.
