X Outage: Musk Blames 'Massive Cyberattack' for Twitter Going Down

The first outage seems to have occurred around 2.30 a.m. PT, according to DownDetector, with a further and more significant spike in reports occurring around 7 a.m. PT (Downdetector is owned by the same parent company as CNET, Ziff Davis). After the outage appeared to be fixed, reports are currently spiking once more.

According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, in the first incident there were more than than 21,000 incidents of people in the U.S. reporting issues with the platform and 10,800 in the U.K. The platform appeared to be back to normal around 2.30 a.m. PT.
