The Chargers star safety was tied for the most quarterback pressures among defensive backs in the NFL with 21 during the regular season, according to Next Gen Stats. He was six pressures clear of second place. It was the most pressures James has had since his rookie season, when he had 24 and also put together an All-Pro season.

The Los Angeles Chargers were one of the most pleasant surprises of the 2024 NFL season. LA finished the regular season 11-6 and clinched a playoff berth for the second time in the last five seasons.
